This one is a toughie.
That's the back of the heel this time. It too has had five winters of real wear.
That has to be good, right?

PSS. There was a hole in the other sock, sole of the heel there. Clearly I wore that pair OUT.

So sad, it's a beauty.
It can be mended, but it won't look the same.
Thought about mending. Fabric was very thin in surrounding zones.
As for the pattern, I may revisit it.
